Rihan Muhammed Selected for INSPIRE Award

Kottakkal: Rihan Muhammed, a student of Peace Public School, Kottakkal, has been selected for the prestigious INSPIRE Award, organized jointly by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, and the National Innovation Foundation.

Rifan, who studies in Class 6, was selected from among thousands of students across the country in grades 6 to 10. The INSPIRE scheme aims to nurture scientific curiosity among students, help them move beyond slogans to form knowledge-based ideas, and guide them in developing and presenting innovative science projects.

Rifan’s project “De-Guard Energy Project” was selected for the award. His project guide was the school’s science teacher, M. Binu.

Rifan is the son of Muhammed Junaid of Mufa Manzil, Kottur. His father is a doctor working abroad. The school principal M. Jahar, Dr. P.A. Kabeer, educator M. Ambujam Teacher, teacher Sini, and school coordinator P.A. Riyas all played key roles in mentoring and guiding him through the project.
