National School Science Congress Enlightens Young Minds at Peace Public School

Peace Public School, Kottakkal, hosted the prestigious National School Science Congress, igniting the scientific spirit among young learners. The event, centered on the theme “Science for Sustainable Living,” served as a platform for students to showcase their scientific prowess and explore innovative solutions for sustainable development.

The Congress was inaugurated by Dr. Brajesh Pandey ,Executive Director of Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi  The inaugural session set the tone for a day filled with curiosity and exploration. Several sessions were led by experts, including Dr. Subash Chandra Bose,Environmental Scientist,Former Director,Water Resource Department of Kerala who captivated the audience with his insights on sustainability and the role of science in societal progress.

Students enthusiastically participated in the event, presenting projects and models that addressed critical issues such as environmental conservation, energy efficiency, and waste management. The exhibitions offered a glimpse into the innovative thinking of the young minds, who worked tirelessly to align their projects with the Congress theme.

The valedictory function was led by Dr. T K Favas , who emphasized the importance of nurturing scientific inquiry in schools to build a brighter and sustainable future. Certificates and awards were distributed to participants, acknowledging their hard work and creativity.
